What should we expect before the coming of Christ?

For those saved, we know that evil will not arrive a second time and it is because those saved will not want to be exposed to the sin that matured before His second coming. Those saved will want to do His will forever. We know that the Holy Spirit will be poured fully on those following Christ but the protective influence of the Holy Spirit will be withdrawn from the rest of the world. The angels holding the winds of strife will allow chaos to reign over the world. Matthew 24 in total gives us a good idea of circumstances as it reflects in the years leading up to the second coming. It confirms as well that it will be as in the days of Noah and it would almost be business as usual but sin will prevail. Like Elijah, His people will have to flee the cities so as not to be persecuted by modern-day equivalent Jezebel, the harlot church using the modern-day equivalent of Ahab ... the USA or, false Protestantism. We will see strange phenomena in nature: Rom. 8:22 "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." We will see strange new diseases like Aids and COVID and will cause some to flee to His care and other’s to curse Him: Matt. 24: 7 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." We see changes in the world now on Sky and CNN that should alert us that chaos will only escalate and the truth will become relative and everyone doing the work of their father the devil. Isa. 5:20,21 "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!" 2 Tim. 4:3 "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions," 1 Cor. 6:9-11 " Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." You are bombarded by Hollywood propaganda for new lifestyle choices. 1 John 2:5-7 "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." Rev. 21:8 "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Sin will reach the climax when 'man' allows Satan's control over all their senses and like in Christ’s day; those exhibiting His characteristics will experience the wrath of Satan’s followers.
