Why at the height of Greek intellect is there no mention of God the Creator?
It is not strange that at the height of man’s intellectual activity, we tend to ignore God in the equation! It is a self-reliant trait. The man was created on day 6, so the man in the form of the antichrist is associated by the number, 666. Man tries to save himself by his own will and finite wisdom that automatically leads to rejecting and ignoring the Saviour, Jesus Christ! This idea was reinvented in the French Revolution, during which mankind and his meagre rationalistic ability decided to remove God from the equation. Evolution dictated that human beings have the ability to be their own Saviour. Through ignorance of the Creator started the atheistic ideas became the so-called direction of the “intellectuals.†The Bible provides the best answers to all questions. 1 Cor 3:18-23 “Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftinessâ€; 20 and again, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.†21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. 23 And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.â€
