When will the sealing be taking place?
The sealing is very important: Rev. 7:2 “Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.†It sounds critical to have the credentials in order to receive this seal! Rev. 9:4 “ They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. The recipients will be as those settled into God’s truth intellectually and spiritually immovable in their minds that is represented by the forehead. The alternative seems to be: Rev. 13:16 “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.†In this verse, the mark is in the forehead (mind) but also on the hand as confirmation that Satan will have ownership of these. Some who follow believing it to be correct and others who only follow the beast in action. All people will be marked in one of two options just before Christ’s return and there is no third option! You are either marked as Christ’s child or you are property of the Beast Power. This will determine the righteous living who will remain alive when Jesus comes. This is a work done in us and for us by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit: Phil. 1:6 “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;†This is an ongoing development in our growth process and our relationship and friendship with Jesus. This seal or mark is typologically similar to what we read in: Eze. 9:4 “and the LORD said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.†5To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. 6Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark, and begin at My sanctuary.†So they began with the elders who were before the temple Typologically, we need to know we are God’s property by partaking in Jacob’s trouble as he was down in the brook wrestling with God; not letting go of God before he knew everything was right between him and God: Gen. 32: 24 “Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. 25Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.†But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!†27So He said to him, “What is your name?†He said, “Jacob.†28And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.†The seriousness of this should motivate us to be in Christ but also allow Him to be in us so that our chosen directions would become as if done by Jesus Himself. When we are so deeply settled into the truth, then Christ would stand up from The mediatory work that He is now doing in heaven. That day the door of probation will close as was done in Noah’s day. Rev. 22:11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.†This is followed by Jesus to claim His own: the righteous dead and also the Elijah people with the seal of God: Rev. 22:12 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.†May we all aspire to be baptized by water but also by His Spirit as we need to be fireproof! Heb. 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.â€
