Is the "Rapture" Biblical, or only Futurism in action?

Where in the Bible is it written that there is going to be a rapture? Many people are sending messages of a rapture that is coming. Before I reply I need to be sure because I have not found anything in my Bible. It has been a recent addition and not substantiated by Biblical support and started with Francisco Ribera’s direction of futurism as part of the Jesuits Counter-Reformation. They postulate that the Antichrist is a person in the future, and they ignore the Grammatical Historical interpretation of the Bible as used by the Reformers. The last week of the 70-week prophecy is cut off from the 69 without scriptural authority as in Daniel 9. Saying that the church will then be raptured as a “silent secret event” is totally ignoring Matthew 24; 1 Thes 4:16, 17, and Revelation 1, where we find nothing supporting the “silent.” These also ignore the type of Noah where they were saved from the flood and not raptured away, but saved through the flood, and this fits with Christ’s promise to be with us until the end! Luke 17 is also used, but reading through it one notices that they knew where “one” of the two was situated each time, even so they asked the logical question; “where, Lord?” that Christ responds to towards the chapter end. The ones taken away, are the unjust who die the first death (where the eagles sit) to await resurrection after the 1000 years. Matt. 24:27 “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” 1 Thes. 4:16 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 2 Pet 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” Rev. 1:7 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” None of the above even give the suggestion of rapture and the timing will be as only the Father in heaven knows… like thief in the night Jesus will come with one almighty noise! Luke 17:34 “I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” 37 And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?” So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.” Read this verse in various translations - The ones raptured here are dead and it is a sobering thought!
