How to have unlimited confidence in God?
Study the Word of God! You will only have confidence in something if you have credible information about it. One requires knowledge that is obtained by people having had experienced it, and eventual to have your own experience with the product and that it performs as advertised and witnessed by others. Now with your own experiential knowledge, you will now be confident enough to also recommend the product. The primary source of God comes from the Bible and longstanding Christians. The Bible does not dispute His existence, and it puts the Godhead in relationship with man, as a fact. Christians have the great commission to witness about the good news of Jesus Christ, and Him solving the sin problem. It is sad that the latter source is sometimes the reason why people ignore Christianity, because of the wrong example set by people claiming to be His followers. Joh. 17:3 “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. “ Knowing God requires a little effort on our part.: Joh. 5:39 “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.†We, therefore, need to search the scriptures to find the truth and see to it that we are not misled. Joh. 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.†Self-study is very necessary, and also by mixing with people with experience. The method of testing one’s own knowledge is to share it with others. In this manner, one starts understanding where one struggles with knowledge. Most sincere seekers now will experience that God is real and involved with His creation. Especially when one arrives at Daniel and Revelation we now see the God who knows the end from the beginning, and the historic fulfillments help us to gain confidence in an all-loving God. Isa. 42:9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.†We only have this Creator God claiming to know the future, and it helps to create confidence as we see the history of man and Israel predicted so accurately that some of the higher critics resort to an idea that the prediction was written post an occurrence as it is too accurate.
