What is the origin of demons?
Dear Reader, critical that we realize that demons are the “the fallen, one-third of the angels†that were cast down to the earth with Lucifer, and that there is no other source whatsoever since this entails the truths that the Bible teaches us about the state of the dead. Rev. 1: 20 “The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.†Rev. 12:4 “His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.†Rev. 12:7 “And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.†This is the only source for all supernatural occurrences, and certainly not the lie preached by Satan in Eden, that mankind will not die as to have an ongoing soul. Rev. 16:13 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.†Here we have individuals (dragon, beast, and false prophet) with demonic possession. Since Jesus is also Michael the Archangel as then having been the head over all the angels, these obviously know Jesus. We also surely know that when something/someone is possessed it loses all ability to control their own behaviour. As a matter of interest, The Bible also associates pigs as unclean and not part of the ideal for man’s consumption. Isa. 66: 17 “Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, To go to the gardens after an idol in the midst, eating swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse, Shall be consumed together,†says the LORD.†We also see that demons requested to go into a herd of pigs. The herd of pigs that received the demons from the men that Jesus healed should in the first place not have been there, whether owned by Jew or non-Jew. Demons were unclean and they were only allowed to go the unclean route and that was to the pigs. Matt 8:28 ‘When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him, two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. 29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?†30 Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. 31 So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.†32 And He said to them, “Go.†So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea and perished in the water. 33 Then those who kept them fled; The pigs drowned but the demons constantly lurk around to find other sources of entry. Eph.6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.†And their end shall be such. Matt. 25:41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:â€
