I am always dreaming of the second coming, is there a meaning?
A dream is like a short video and appears in our period of the so-called REM sleep cycle. Some people attribute much significance but it may be as simple as it reflects the brain’s response to too much good food. We frequently dream of topics our brains are preoccupied with. Therefore to dream of the blessed second coming may be very positive. We all know that this is our blessed hope to be ready when Jesus returns. We have the warning: 2 Pet.3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." The timing will be secretive but the rapturing of the saints will be loud and visual for everybody to see. One needs to aspire to be saved by Jesus, so that the dream may become a reality. The good news about Christianity is that we have an empty tomb that proves that Christ arose on the third day. John 14:1†Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.†This is the blessed hope and may we be worthy to be saved and may our dreams about Christ’ coming become a reality for all of us.
